So we’re optimists at Leonidas Rapid Engineered Solutions LLC and believe that additive manufacturing is a cornerstone technology for a better world. With on demand, localized 3d printing technology, carbon footprint from manufacturing can be reduced. Additionally, manufacturing on demand reduces the need for warehousing and inventory, money that can be better spent elsewhere, such as retaining talent. After much research we have pulled the trigger on procuring our first professional grade printer, an Anisoprint A3. Its technology allows for composites to be printed that are incredibly light and strong. With it we will be able to make functional parts for a variety of demanding applications, from aerospace to the ocean depths.
